I was at the dentist this morning for a regular check-up. Imagine my surprise when I leaned back and all of a sudden was watching RTL Vandaag on a television screen above my head. Appearantly, things are changing at one of the least customer-centric environments. lees verder…

Had lunch at De Bakkerswinkel this weekend, Roelof Hartstraat 68 in Amsterdam Zuid. My girlfriend heard of this place yesterday and said I would love this.

Riding our bikes through the Roelof Hartstraat, I have to be honest I was doubtful. I know this area pretty well and biked through this street a million times. Just as we left the better part of the street behind us, there it was. An unusual place for a lunch place with character. lees verder…

This as a follow up on my previous post Wii work hard an play hard.

Last Thursday, it got pretty late again. Around 7.30, our pizzas arrived. A break well deserved and coincedentally colleague Pascal Gerlach had his Wii machine with him. Here was our chance to test Wii Sports in our new office. lees verder…

n95-iphone_48.jpgI bought the Nokia N95 some time ago. A great product and I’m very happy with it. Shot some nice photos, phone and internet work fine and the extra 2.0 features are excellent. Just don’t get the Maps app working.

Honestly though, if I had the opportunity back then to buy the iPhone, I might have chosen the marketing champion. The messages then were though that it wouldn’t be available until early next year. Easy choice. Now I read all these messages that they are sold already in the Netherlands, made possible through some creative tweaking.

Did anyone buy one of these? Should I sell my N95? I hope not. The life of a gadget freak is hard enough as it is….

aab_resize.jpgLast Saturday the 10th edition of the ICA-YBA Hockey Tournament took place, at Gooische hockey club in Hilversum. This is a field hockey tournament with companies linked to the ICA participating. Last two years, Accenture won the cup. This year, our athletic achievements were a bit dissapointing, but we had a great time and the weather was amazing. The photos speak for themselves.

So what do you do when after a day of hard work, you can’t visit the driving range because of the bad weather?

One of my colleagues got his hands on a Wii game computer. So yesterday, after office hours, we explored the wonders of virtual sports. Below you see one of my colleagues in a boxing match with a character named ‘Marco’. We also played some tennis and hit the fairways. Not bad for a regular Wednesday evening…..
