There’s a new video out, published by my colleagues at Accenture Interactive, capturing some fast-changing interactive marketing trends. Although it was clearly inspired by the famous Shift happens video, it offers some different trends as well:
- How fast are business executives taking on the technology? Nine out of ten executives are on the web every day. Nine out of ten are using web-based events.
- How fast is content being developed for multi-platform distribution? 61% of media executives agree that content companies are shifting towards “open” distribution models.
- How fast is the B2B marketing spend changing online? In spite of a decline in traditional media spend, online marketing for products and services is estimated to grow by double digits. Advertising in podcasts is expected to reach $400M by 2011
